How to Cancel Adult FriendFinder Gold (and Its Hidden Add-Ons)

Adult FriendFinder Gold renews automatically, and paid add-ons can renew on their own schedule, separately from Gold. That’s why some people cancel Gold and are still charged. Here’s how to cancel properly, including add-ons, and what to do if a charge still comes through.

Quick Answer

  1. Log in to Adult FriendFinder.
  2. Open your account’s billing settings.
  3. Turn off auto-renewal for your Gold membership.
  4. Check for add-ons (such as “Interact With Standard Members”) and cancel each one too.
  5. Save every confirmation and check your next statement.

Why Add-Ons Matter

When we checked the Gold checkout in October 2026, an add-on called “Interact With Standard Members” was already ticked. It cost R596.23 every quarter, plus VAT, and renews quarterly, on top of Gold. If you didn’t notice it when you joined, you may be paying for it now.

Look at your original confirmation email. It lists everything you were charged for. Cancel each item separately and note each renewal date.

Step-by-Step: Cancel Gold and Add-Ons

  1. Find your confirmation email and list every item and its renewal date.
  2. Log in and go to your account or billing settings.
  3. Turn off auto-renewal for Gold.
  4. Find each add-on and cancel it as well.
  5. Screenshot each confirmation screen.
  6. Check your next statement. If anything still renews, contact support with your screenshots.

Cancelling auto-renewal normally stops future charges. It doesn’t refund the period you’ve already paid for, and you usually keep access until it ends.

Charged After Cancelling?

  1. Gather your cancellation screenshots and confirmation emails.
  2. Contact Adult FriendFinder support with the date and amount of the charge.
  3. Ask for a refund before you dispute it with your bank.
